President William Ruto has announced a raft of appointments and nominations across the Executive, Constitutional Commissions and statutory bodies in a move aimed at strengthening public service delivery and institutional leadership.

President William Ruto has announced a raft of appointments and nominations across the Executive, Constitutional Commissions and statutory bodies in a move aimed at strengthening public service delivery and institutional leadership.
Among the changes, Isaac Mwaura has been promoted and redesignated as the Head of the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Disability Rights in the Executive Office of the President. Charles Owino Wahong'o has been redeployed and appointed Government Spokesperson, also under the Executive Office of the President.
The President has also nominated Dr. Duncan Oburu to serve as Chairperson of the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), subject to parliamentary approval.
In the education sector, Antonina Lentoijoni and Wilson Sossion have been nominated as members of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), while Flora Mutua has been nominated to join the Public Service Commission (PSC).
Additionally, President Ruto has unveiled a shortlist of nominees for appointment to the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC). The candidates are:
Wilson Kuria Thuita – Murang'a County
Silvya C. Apaa – Busia County
Ahmed Kanyara Bishar – Wajir County
Pascalyne Ntang'enoi Kimiriri – Laikipia County
Ken Riaga – Migori County
Evalyn Chepkirui Aruasa – Nakuru County
Mary Nanjala Kilobi – Nairobi County
The appointments and nominations form part of ongoing efforts by the government to strengthen leadership across key public institutions and enhance the effective delivery of services to Kenyans.
