Severed Human Organ Found Along Nairobi–Mombasa Highway In Makueni

Residents of Kiongwani area in Makueni County were left in shock after police recovered a severed human body part believed to belong to an unidentified man.

According to a police report filed at Sultan Hamud Police Station under OB 16/10/06/2026, officers on routine patrol received information from members of the public on Wednesday afternoon regarding a suspected human body part that had been spotted near the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway.

Police officers from Sultan Hamud Police Station, accompanied by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Mukaa, responded to the scene and recovered what was confirmed to be a human penis.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the body part may have been severed at a different location before being dumped at the roadside.

Authorities processed the scene and transferred the recovered body part to Sultan Hamud Sub-County Hospital Mortuary, where it is being preserved pending identification and further investigations.

Police have launched investigations to establish the identity of the victim, the circumstances surrounding the incident, and those responsible.

The case has been classified as a Pending Under Investigation (P.U.I.) matter, with DCI Mukaa leading the investigations.

The discovery has sparked concern among residents, who are now calling on authorities to expedite investigations and bring those behind the incident to justice.
